Our Team

Our staff is passionate about education, bringing their expertise and heart to every lesson.

Denise Halgren

Mrs. Halgren believes teaching is a God-given gift and is passionate about helping every child succeed through love, encouragement, and strong support. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, she retired from the public school system in 2022.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys kayaking, traveling, hiking, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a published children’s book author, and her prayer is that Harmony Hybrid will be a blessing to families seeking balance in their educational journey.

Founder/Director

Arielle Sprague

Before joining Harmony Hybrid, Mrs. Sprague taught science classes at Grand Haven High School. Science has always been a passion of hers because studying God’s creation deepens her faith and appreciation for His work. She loves building relationships with students and believes that learning about each child’s unique interests and passions helps create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Arielle and her husband, Nathan, have been married 10 years and are raising their two children, Ella and Garrett, in a Christ-centered home.

As an educator, Bailey-Ann is passionate about meeting each child where they are with love, encouragement, and Christ-centered care. She strives to create a joyful learning environment where students feel supported as they grow emotionally, academically, and spiritually. Through grace, kindness, and daily prayer for wisdom, she desires to help children build a strong foundation in Christ and discover the joy of walking with Him.

Outside of teaching, Bailey-Ann loves spending time thrifting, gardening, cooking, baking, reading, crafting, and listening to music. She and her husband are blessed with two wonderful children, two cats, and a dog.

Jesse Conley

Hello, my name is Jesse Conley. I am a father of 3, veteran, teacher, and lifelong servant of Christ. I am on fire for education, as it is my lifelong passion. I love seeing new ideas form in little minds as they begin to truly understand the material. I am so excited for this upcoming year, and can’t wait to meet you all.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my kids, playing with my dogs, researching, playing soccer, tabletop games, volunteering, and homesteading with my wife.

I have taught for nearly 8 years and love it! I have completed my Masters degree in Educational Studies (M.Ed.) and I am currently 2 classes from completing my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) I also have undergraduate degrees in Education & Training, Military Science, and Avionic Systems Technology. I was an adjunct professor/instructor, instructor supervisor, master instructor, and curriculum developer for the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) / Air University, as well as a substitute teacher in Texas, Oregon, and Michigan for 6 years.

I am in charge of the Base Education Services Office at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA while on U.S. Air Force Reserves duty. Our children attended a similar hybrid in Oregon and it was a wonderful experience for them as well as my wife who worked there. I want to embrace the mission here and take up the mantle.

As a wife and homeschooling mother of six children, Kourtney has spent the past several years educating her children at home while managing a busy family homestead filled with a dog, ducks, and a flock of chickens. Through homeschooling, Kourtney has developed a passion for helping children learn in ways that suit them best, because every student is uniquely created by God. She is committed to meeting students where they are, nurturing their individual strengths, and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help them grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
